    here is what I know!

Okay real quick this is what I know. I just put in for the FAE hiring.

New list out 2 weeks to 2 months.
    4,000 apps
    3,000 Supps.
Planning on advertising again starting in August.
Predictions are list will be exhausted in 12 months.
New list will override old list. Old list will be added into the new list via the supplemental process. Giving the 2005 applicants to update thier experince and certs.

Interviews for FAE(P) Taking place next week.
Well that is about what I know.
My best advice is get out and pound pavement and visit stations and chiefs. Get your resume out there. Especially once you figure out what band you are in.

You share what you find out I'll give you what I know. Got strong connections on the NYP and Montery units.
Cal BOU works at the academy in Ione and with the officers academy going on right now is probably busy.

Fire fighter academy 6 weeks and officer academy 6 weeks for FAE's Think the same for FFT2

    FF2 and FAE Cal Fire

    Do you have an email?

To sum up what I have heard, the southern units dipped into band 8 and the northern into band 10. I have no idea how many canidates are left in either of the bands. The list I have in front of me shows 17 canidates in band 8, 456 in 9 and 120 in 10. This is the 08/02/05 FF2 list and its list life is 48 months.

It was said the results from the last FF2 and FAE written will be out around April or May. I did hear Riverside will be hiring to fill positions for retirements and several new fire stations.

    Any thoughts or advice?

Thanks for all of your previous help,

    Cal Fire FF2 testing list

    Hey everyone,

I saw the FF2 and FAE list online from the 2005 test and it states the list is active until 8/2009. THe last test just closed a few weeks ago and it looks like the new list will be out in April or May.

I was just wondering if the two list will be combined or if the old list will be replaced?

*** For those of you who do not know, you can see where your are on the list by going to the ca jobs website. The link to get there is below. You will need to find your ID number (it will be on your results letter and is 6 digits). This information is important because I was told that alot of canidates have actually bumped up. So if you were band 10, you could be in 9 now.

Just find your class (FF2, FAE, Fire Captain, ETC) and follow the steps. It's almost depressing because only 1% point seperates each list.

    Stay safe,
