    Agreed. We're close enough that we could enjoy(?) the same weather situations on a regular basis. Since we're in the same Forestry Mutual Aid group maybe we'll see each other in the Pine Barrens......

    Weather Pattern Shift??..........

    Here in Downtown Maryland, there seems to be a change in the weather patterns. A drying trend has been in place for a few weeks, and is starting to be noticed. Additionally, this trend appears to be settling in for a longer term run. Projections for the period thru the end of June show a good possibility of above normal Temperatures and below normal Precipitation. Looks like El Nino rides again........ If this pattern holds, as forcast, the Mid-Atlantic may start seeing Fires like those of the late 1990s again....... Stay Tuned....
