Go to avuedigitalservices.com the process of filling out the application is a little complicated but you can get through it. Apply for engine/hotshot positions with the us forest service. Make sure any training or education you have is on there because that's how they establish if you are qualified. Forest Service also has exchange programs but I don't know exactly how that works. Hope that helps!

There are lots of contract services that are always looking for seasonal employees. You could also try to apply for a seasonal position with BLM, USFS, or USF&WS. All 3 of those are US Gov. agencies, and I am not real sure of their hiring policies for out of country personnel.

Want to work in wildland firefighting (from Sweden)
Hi everyone!
I'm a 17 year old boy from Sweden who's very interested in a seasonal job in wildland firefighting. Currently I attend a high school here in Sweden were we learn both basic and advanced firefighting/EMT. Next summer when I'm 18 I'm thinking of trying to get a job in either U.S or Canada. I will be certified in s-100 and WFR (wildland first responder) I also have knowledge in advanced CPR and some basics in firefighting. I have good physical shape and I don't give up easily.
Now I need help with how I will go on further! do you have any tips? Which companies/who should I contact? Is it harder to get a job because I'm from another county or is that a plus?
I'll appreciate any help and answer, thanks in advanceTags: None
