  • Dozer chest harness

to be more precise - a dozer fire shelter/radio holster chest harness. guess i wasn't being specific enough.
anyone have one they wanna sell? I dont want to spend 45 bucks on something that may not work all that well. seems like a solid concept though.

Spiff, while it does seem like a great idea, in practicality, not so much, only 2 versions are out there, on by True North, the other back Pack Shack
True North's has skinny straps, that tend to dig in to your shoulders, and it is very impractical if you have to do a lot of walking, or hand work, I havent tried the Pack shack's version, though it does look more comfortable with wider straps. I currently use the Thielsen engine/dozer harness, which sits down by your side, has nice wide straps, and has an accessory pouch for lunch, etc. just no place to attach a radio, unless it has a belt clip. Its fairl well suited for engine work,or even on foot with tools or stringing fire, my only complaint is it doesnt fit into the seat so well on my tractor

        Thanks Jake!

I was on the fence about it because it seemed like it could be a hindrance, but I know getting in and out of the type6 all day makes me wish there was something other than the current belt clip for the shelter.

They sure are proud of that thielsen!
