No they are not the NC. They did not play in the NC game. Just like USC and LSU a few years back. The BCS Champ is the Champion. In a perfect world there would be a playoff, but until then this is what there is. So the Gators are the champs.

The Gators won the title in the boardroom not on the field, that to me makes them a paper champion. The Broncos win over Oklahoma gives their record legitamacy. I'm not saying the Broncos deserve to call themselves National Champions either. I am saying they have earned a shot and if there was a will to make it happen they could.
