Mr.Orr aslo wrote a "fictional book" about an arson investigator that mirrored the crimes that he (Orr) was commiting while theses arson's were being carried out by no one other than himself. Don't remember the title of the book, but I believe you can buy it on Amazon and all the proceeds go to the families of the deceesed.

Do not remember who wrote it but there was a book about Lt. Hamilton of FDNY called, 20,000 Alarms." For those that do not know he was the most decorated firefighter in the history of FDNY. Of course there is Dennis Smiths "Report from Engine Co. 82." I read it the first time when i was in the 7th grade and I knew I wanted to do this for a living. Would have to look into my boxes of books I have but another ex-Bronx firefighter wrote a couple books that were good reads. I can only remember his last name, Ahearns. Since I am at work I am only working on a bad memory. One had to do with Hell's Kitchen and not sure of his titles.
