Reminds me of a call we ran a few years ago. Dark, rainy middle of the Saturday night kinda of call. Single car roll-over MVA. 2002 Hyundai Tiberon. WAS a very nice looking car until it got "parked" on its roof.
Driver self-extricated before we arrived, and was essentially unhurt. Slight smell of alcohol - he was a bartender in Victoria, heading home, north to Duncan (about 45 miles away). PRICELESS part was the car was not his. It belonged to his brother's GIRLFRIEND. BIG OOOPPSSS, cuz the cops determined DUI.................... "Sorry Mac, no insurance."
If you don't do it RIGHT today, when will you have time to do it over? (Hall of Fame basketball player/coach John Wooden)

Yeah...big oops. Found out on wednesday when I saw the cop again, her father didn't know it was gone. Add stolen vehicle to the list of charges...hehe.
We had one like that years ago. Dad worked for a local car dealer and brought home a brand-new 300Z to show a potential buyer. Teenage son and a couple buddies took it for a ride. Didnt look to good laying in that ditch after it went about 150 ft down a local road on its roof.

First time we used the air bags we'd just bought a few years back was for a Mercedes roll-over to get the SUV off the driver's foot. The car had left the road and went uphill through numerous trees about 80 feet from the road in someone's yard.We think he might have been speeding.
He sure wasn't feeling any pain that Sunday afternoon and didn't know why he couldn't crawl out from underneath until we pulled him out.
Alcohol may or may not have been involved.
I heard from a couple of guys in the rescue squad I used to belong to that a few months ago they responded to an MVA. The 2 blokes in the primary rescue are both off duty Police officers.
Upon arrival, (first on scene) they ascertain that no one is injured then casually chat to one of the drivers.
He then says to them, "Thank God you guys aren't the Police- I was a bit worried when I heard the sirens."
This is a boat story but:I was sitting out on the head of a cement barge shoved into the bank at McKellar Lake here in Memphis when the pilot called me on the walkie-talkie to draw my eyes to a bass boat rooster tailing down the lake.
When it got to the mouth of the lake, the guy in it started doing donuts and getting tighter and tighter in his turns.
Soon enough,he falls overboard and since he didn't have a kill switch lanyard on,the boat straightened out, headed straight towards the barge at full throttle.
It hit hard enough to rattle wing tank hatch covers all up and down the barge. Then the boat bounced backwards about 20 feet and when it hit the water and started back to the barge,it just shivered and fell apart.
I ran back to the boat after throwing my life jacket in after the guy, even though he had his,got the throwing ring, got it to him, pulled him down to the boat and fished him out of the water.
As he lay there on the deck crying,I asked him what was wrong. There were three things wrong with him:
1.He'd just taken the boat off the dealer's lot.
2.His wife had already nixed the boat idea and didn't know he'd gone ahead with it.
3.The insurance hadn't taken effect yet.
