I must admit, I always enjoyed the show "The Vicar of Dibley."
Especially the Vicar and Ewan, the "sheep guy."

    Right Liberty,Moosh!

Steve --please return my home movies-double rapid!

This is so real--if only we could get this stuff over here, it would save me a fortune in airfares when the need for a bit of London Banter is required.

Did anyone see that as anything else other than a send up of old fashioned values??? There were a whole host of these 1940's style 'public information films' made into comdey sketches. Like Mart says, from the very funny Harry Enfield show, the sketch dates back to the mid 90's.

If that offends anyone...then they need to see 'Nan'... Catherine Tate is a really really funny British Comedienne, her send up of an old Cockney Lady (Cockney = Londoner) is absolutely hilarious.... and remoinds me of a lot of old dears I knew growing up.... My Wife's Nan is just like her.

    Catherine Tate as Nan

    I wholly understand that one.
Last time I dated someone long enough to have an anniversary,I took her to our favorite restaraunt where not only did we go inside to eat this time,I specifically requested that they"supersized"the fries for the little lady(Michelle was and is only 5'1").

    Part Two

If I can ever get Part One to work .... no wonder I hate cats. Thought I would lead off with the "cute kitty pics" and then post this just to throw everyone off the "typical chick" bash that would be sure to follow.

I actually got this by email (again, I noticed it when another co-worker was looking at it), which has a much bigger impact than looking at it on the website.

Maybe this will work - if not ... f*******k it I'm off to do something else.

You're a bad influence, Ian!!!! I was leaving to do some chores until I saw this stupid thread LOL LOL LOL

I'd like to preface this post with the disclaimer that I normally don't post, or forward, this type of email. One of my co-workers was watching it today and I commented on how funny some of the pictures were so she sent it to me.

So it is rather apropos that Ian shared this particular video with us tonight.

I don't understand why IE will open the page for me but I get a bad gateway with the link??????

Sheesh, I have my next post ready, but don't want to submit it until I get this to work.

I kinda have to agree with both sentiments being expressed so far ... it was rather a funny skit

But, unfortunately, it is also a true reflection throughout most of mankind's history (hmmm @ mankind - no pun intended, the phrase just flowed from my fingers LOL) And quite likely is still true in some societies.

After I typed this and was re-reading it, all of I sudden I had this hilarious thought ..... stay tuned!
