They will get you everytime! Very dear friend of mine "Lushious" Lesley Ludgrove-- me and him were watchmates for donkeys years--his little fella was singing at the top of his voice "Do-Do the Fu*king Chicken".
This was in H28 South London drill yard while we were doing Escape Drill(yup the big twin wheeled wooden escape 25cwt job)--our lot cracked up with trying to explain to a 4yr old that the exact words were "Do the Funky Chicken".

But on reflection we all reckoned his version was better.

The young man in question has now got 3 littles of his own--but he has never been allowed to forget that particular song!

We went to Glenbrook Vintage Railway yesterday, as it was one of the "Thomas the Tank Engine Days".

Adam was on my shoulders looking around when we walked passed the man dressed as Sir Topam Hat "The Fat Controller".

Adam does real well with the engines name, but has problems with this name.

Yup, much to a proud dads delight, he points and says in his loudest voice for every one to hear

"The Fat Cont"

He has a problem with the roller bit.

Steve-I have watched this particular thread with interest. Enoch Powell was castigated by all of the wishy washy, PC ,tree hugging, Jesus sandal wearing weirdo's of that time for telling the truth--our American cousins are too wrapped up in their particular problems to even have a peek outside--if they had back then in 1968(?) maybe a whole lot of their problems would not have arisen.
But then Aussie and NZ are as guilty--just look at the riots on Aussie beaches with the influx of Lebanese--we have an even better system ,we allow immigrants that cannot even speak or read a solitary word of English, to drive on our roads! And of course ,they then say that they cannot get a job--crazy mate, crazy.
