Well ladies and gents,
I went to the theater for the first time in 5 years and saw Flags of Our Fathers at its first run at noon today.
An excellent film, and if you have any interest in the Corps, World War II, or "The Photograph" this is gread synopsis of the book (sticking to details very well), and of what happened around that time in our Nation's history.
The invasion sequence is one to be seen in the theater. On par with Saving Private Ryan (which I did not see in the theater).
Next years' Letters from Iwo Jima ought to be equally spectactular - even if we will need subtitles.
Semper Fidelis.
