    Will never be the same. First they qualified me as a EMT-B, and effective today, I am now a driver-in-training.

      How about posting the unit number of your apparatus and/or the unit number of the band-aide box you'll be wheeling, so we can watch for you!

      Maybe I'll have to start riding VRE to be on the safe side.

                The crazy Canuck has been on the loose since arriving in DC. Have you noticed that he alwys seems to be right in the thick of things when the lights and sirens go off? I think maybe next time I come, I better hire a bodyguard.


                on another note, CONGRATS to you Rick. Next up, pasing the CPAT. Keep up those "afternoon walks."

                    Ya know, I had to do a re-test to qualify, but one thing that remained the same, was the rain. Only on Saturday it wasnt the torential downpour it was the last time, but we still have some rain. I had to ask the "obvious" question: "Tom, does it always rain when you guys are testing?" The answer was "Yes."

                      I have to ask this. Who claims that part of the country? Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania or no one??? Always amazed me how messed up that area was compared to other parts of the US! Guess I will have to side with Harve, Keep the draw bridges OPENED!!!

                        Hmm... keep the bridges OPEN? That would mean that the decks are dropped, and free access granted. Perhaps what you mean is CLOSE the bridges - raise the decks, and prevent crossing?
