I have owned both brands at one time or another. Both make great equipment that performs well. One note. If you have a satellite radio subscription, Alpine does XM while Kenwood does Sirius. If you want to avoid a seperate tuner for satellite radio you will have to choose accordingly."We shouldn't be opening firehouses in Baghdad and closing them in New York City."
