Chewing Tobacco On The Fire Scene

I've dipped Copenhagen for a lot of years. I use it on scene, or during training. Wearing BA not a problem as I go a long time between spitting. Can't really see what difference it would make to anybody if a firefighter did take a pinch while on scene.

I hardly touch the stuff anymore (those mouth cancer pictures turned me off), and I would never on a fire scene, but back in my military days, that was the best way to keep yourself awake through late-night exercises. It was a good last ditch defence measure as well, since my trench was usually surrounded by a two foot tobacco slick.

How many of you guys chew tobacco? And of the ones that do, how many of you have a dip in when at a fire call? Also, Have you ever dipped while in an SCBA? HEHE, just wondering.
