                      Seriously though, thanks everybody. My EMS career is still a work in progress though, I'll probably wind up on a private ambulance outfit (which in RI equals "Non-emergency transports of Grandma Tilly from the nursing home to her CAT scan, just like last week") for a while (to get myself the $#%& out of my current job). I was thinking about stopping by a few vollie departments in neighboring communities to see what they can offer for some actual street experience while I'm applying for area FDs as they come up.
