        Thanks

Thanks a bunch... Was a pretty blah day for me...the better half was on shift, my boys still live in Virginia (talked to them) and my dad passed away August 28, 1998... ...Man, I still miss him so much So since I was by myself, I worked some easy Ot in the morning, sat by the pool in the afternoon and watched movies while eating popcorn and drinking margaritas last night... Exciting wasn't it?

Happy Father's Day Dad......I love you and miss you...I know you are reading all this foolishness that we right here and shaking your head about this modern technology called a computer.

              Thanks Sheri,
It will always be a great Father's Day as long as I get to spend it with the reason I am a dad, no matter what we do.

                Thanks Sher,

Had a Father's Day weekend here. Saturday was All-Star softball game for my daughter (I help coach her team) followed by Father/Daughter Girl Scout picnic. Sunday was woken up by kids with cards and hugs. Spent 1/2 day just playing with the kids, afternoon with my parents having dinner and swimming.

                    A belated thank you

Wow! I've been off the boards for awhile.......

Sheri, thanks for your kind words. I was able to spend a relaxing day with the wife and daughters, and then promptly did up some vittles using the new Weber grill (charcoal of course) my family bought me to replace my 16 year old Weber that was on it's last legs (pun intended). Gonna miss that old grill.....
                    Guinness....a meal in a can!

Thank you, all I wanted was to not have to be calm but NO the Mrs. had to go and have heat exhaustion, at least my daughter (a.k.a. the next baby Jessica) didn't get hurt (for once).
Why do I *always* have to be the calm one?

Ah, can't go wrong there! Have you ever used lump charcoal? I like it better than regular charcoal, it last longer, lights faster (I use the charcoal chimneys), and seems to taste better.
