    -----------------------------------------------------

OKLAHOMA CITY (Reuters) - A note to all job
seekers: you know that your employment interview did not go
well when your prospective boss calls the police in to arrest
    you.
Anthony Kaleb Phillips, 20 was hauled away from an
interview for a job with a construction company in Stillwater,
Oklahoma last week after employees recognized the job applicant
as the person seen on a surveillance videotape robbing the same
business just one day before, police said on Monday.
Phillips is expected to be arraigned this week on burglary
charges for stealing a $100 tool from the construction company
and about $1,000 worth of items from an employee's car parked
at the office, court officials said.
"When he went out there to apply for the job, there was no
one there. So he just helped himself to some items and left,"
said Payne County Undersheriff Kenneth Willerton. "However, he
    was caught on videotape."
A day after the robbery, Phillips applied for a job with
the construction company, and was arrested. Needless to say, he
    didn't get the job.

You know, thousands of years ago, natural selection weeded out the stupid animals before they could reproduce. Thanks to technology, that no longer happens. Now it seems that only stupid people are breeding....

            Another winner......

BOSTON, Aug 8 (Reuters) - A former New Hampshire police
officer was arrested on Friday in connection with a bank heist
in which the getaway vehicle turned out to be none other than
one of the town's squad cars.
Gary Sahlin, 26, was arrested in Florida, where he now
lives, and charged with robbing a Fleet Bank branch in
Manchester, New Hampshire, on Wednesday. Sahlin had been a
police dispatcher in Manchester until he resigned early last
            month.
Police said the getaway vehicle was one of their own cars.
"We noticed one of our police cruisers was missing just
before we got the call about the bank robbery, where witnesses
said they saw one of our cars speeding away with the lights
flashing," said Sgt. Mark Fowke, a spokesman for the Manchester
            police department.
Manchester is a city of 100,000 north of Boston. Its police
force owns more than two dozen cars, Fowke said.

              Did crime pay?

I assume as these events happened in America the guilty parties were able to sue somebody for heaps of money? One-- the stuff the first guy stole was a blatant entrapment--items were onshow ,(but no witness's)thereby enticing him to steal it. The second incident with the police cruiser-a stress related P.M.T "flashback" to a job that did not allow his full potential to emerge--or some such "Psychobabble" . Truly the Lunatics are running the Asylum
