Pair charged after stolen item shows up on e-Bay
(New Milford-AP) -- Two New Milford teens are charged in several
burglaries in Bergen County.
Police spotted a stolen radio on e-Bay and used a subpoena to
get the name of the seller -- 18-year-old Richard Petrou.
After Petrou allegedly pulled a fire alarm at New Milford High
School, police matched his fingerprints to those found at the home
where the radio was stolen. Authorities say Petrou then confessed
to several burglaries.
He also named 19-year-old Robert Suger as his accomplice.
Authorities say Suger has confessed to some burglaries, too.
Both men are charged with several counts of burglary and theft.
They are free on bail.
