  • Wedding Ceremony

I was at a wedding Reception last year the groom was a firefighter, after dinner his whole dept got up and did some kind of welcome ceremony where his new bride kissed an axe. it was very cool. Now a guy on my dept. is getting hitched and im trying to find out what it was called and i cant find it. The bride and groom from the wedding last year lost it and can't find it so this is my last resort. please if anybody has any idea what im talking about i could use any info

    Thanks

Nice way to say, "I do"...

"Now you may kiss my axe!"

Somehow, I don't see it being very popular.

Rather a phallic and submissive act there. She married the man, not the department.

I have to agree with everyone else. Sounds extremely tacky.
