  • Patsy Cline

On this date, March 5, 1963 a private airplane with Patsy Cline,
Cowboy Copas, Hawkshaw Hawkins, and Randy Hughes, crashed in Camden, TN. All were lost.

I will never forget her and the others.

    Rest in peace.

She had such a beautiful voice. Of course I wasn't around then, but my mom always listened to cassetes and cd's of her. Had to be a sad day indeed to have lost all of those talented singers/performers.

      And...........

Cap, Thank You. Sometimes things almost slip by without rememberance.....

Before logging on just now, I spent some time finishing up my latest CD, "Somewhere South of Lonely". Patsy is on it, with "She's Got You"....... I knew I wanted a Song of Her's, but which one is a challenge, with so many choices. Such a sad ending to a Career that was in full Bloom.......

IMO, one of the greatest female vocalists of all time.

I am a huge fan of I Fall to Pieces, Never No More, and her cover of Walking After Midnight.

        Great post.
I'm not saying you're stupid. I'm saying you have bad luck when it comes to thinking.
