Some snowmachiners/motorcyclists/jetskiers et cetera,et cetera et cetera have more horsepower than they do sense.They get going faster than conditions dictate because "It's fun to go fast".

So while these yuppies sit home, the trails sit idle all winter long, while the bars and restaurants that depended on the snowmobilers slowly go broke. /rant off. Sorry....
And I've almost been hit by snowmobiles while skiing.. many times. There is a very valid reason separate trails should be set aside for motorized and manual activities.
And most snowmobiliers I know.. trail or no trail the Bars aint losing any business.

Well,in every state I've lived in,bicycles DO have to follow the same rules of the road,which I usually do.
I grew up learning that where there is no sidewalk,you ride(and walk) against traffic so that you can see the cars with drivers who aren't watching out for you.
In this day of cell phones,texting while driving,eating those 99 cent heart attack meals and other tasks "more important" than safely operating a 3,000+lb motor vehicle,this is a smart tactic for me because it lets me see the idjits who are too impressed with themselves to realize that I can't go any farther off road than I already have.
It my just be a $65 wally world special but I don't like riding into ditches to avoid a collision.That sudden stop at the bottom ain't much fun.

If they want to be treated like a legal vehicle, then they should be registered as a vehicle. In the state of Georgia a bicycle is considered a vehicle, though not required to be registered. But hand signals are still expected to be used on the road. All I ever here out of bicyclists is how they want to be treated equally on the road, well, fine by me. Register your bike and ominus dominus, you're a legit vehicle. That's just my $0.02 worth.

Stupid.
FYI, this crazy politician has since retracted this legislation.

The Mid South Fair is held in Desoto County,Mississippi and another fair is held out at the Agricenter which is across Walnut Grove Rd from the old Penal Farm,which itself is now a natural park.
You oughta move closer to town so you can hear the news.

Anyway,nobody's ever flagged down because I haven't got a tag on my bike.
I was also famous around Paducah Ky because I'd ride anywhere anytime and even responded to the station for calls on mine.More often than not,I'd beat most of the responders to the station and would have the doors open and rig started up and warming by the time the officers arrived.They'd all be jacked up on adrenaline and I'd be in back napping because I'd burned mine off jst getting to the station.

I think it was .50 cents for the tag and you took the bike to a local police precinct and they installed the plate about 4'" X 2" under the seat where the rear folks came up to the main post.
They probably got away from that now or if it's still in operation it is a decal.

The Taxman by George Harrison
One, two, three, four...
Hrmm!
One, two, (one, two, three, four!)
Let me tell you how it will be;
There's one for you, nineteen for me.
'Cause I’m the taxman,
Yeah, I’m the taxman.
Should five per cent appear too small,
Be thankful I don't take it all.
'Cause I’m the taxman,
Yeah, I’m the taxman.
(if you drive a car, car- I’ll tax the street;
(if you try to sit, sit- I’ll tax your seat;
(if you get too cold, cold- I’ll tax the heat;
(if you take a walk, walk- I'll tax your feet.
Taxman!
'Cause I’m the taxman,
Yeah, I’m the taxman.
Don't ask me what I want it for, (ah-ah, mister Wilson)
If you don't want to pay some more. (ah-ah, mister heath)
'Cause I’m the taxman,
Yeah, I’m the taxman.
Now my advice for those who die, (taxman)
Declare the pennies on your eyes. (taxman)
'Cause I’m the taxman,
Yeah, I’m the taxman.
And you're working for no one but me.
Taxman!

Just wait when the kids want to start collecting and trading their license plates. Then they would never be matched up with the right bike. Then the cops would have to arrest all the poor kiddies for displaying false tags.
