Number Our "New" Brush Truck

Hello Forum:

We recently acquired a "new" 5 Ton GI truck. We are in the process of building it into our new, heavy duty brush truck.

We are offering the public a chance to number our truck.

I was gonna check "Paint it black with a number 3 on it and "Goodwrench" on the hood and require the driver to grow a moustache and wear an open face helmet with mirrored "man with No Eyes" goggle" but that option wasn't available.

The engine type becomes the first number
The priority of call out/ or the numbers of that type of enine be comes the second number
(if you have more than one station a third number can be used to tell what sation it came from)

Engine 64- a Type 6 Engine that is one of four.
Tender 242- type 2 tender, one of 4, from station 2.€

You get the idea...

Doughesson-thanks for the suggestion, I think we are going to go with red with white lettering. Not as fancy as your idea, but a little cheaper. Pretty good idea though.

Bushwacker-appreciate your input, but we have to go with what the county will allow. We just get to pick what is on the poll.
