    I'm curious

    I'm new to this forum (have yet to feel out the culture )so if this questions is "stupid" then please kindly IM me and let me know but...

    I watched 15 minutes the other day and was wondering what firefighters thought of movies like that or Backdraft or some of the others.

          Ok, I'll bite! You will generally find that most firehouses own a copy of Backdraft, and many firefighters own this movie, too. We have to! Any movie will be critiqued on content, whether fire or EMS. How about adding other great movies to the list here? I also liked Frequency, which isn't a dedicated fire movie, but the profession is used pretty extensively there. Take care out there!

              Hollywood

              The movie was supposed to be the Top Gun for the fire service. I thought the movie was too Hollywood.
