        Season three..........?

Is this really season three? Wow, it's gone by so fast.............. Well just talked to my "better half" and we are gonna get season two tomorrow.
It's funny how so many people on here don't like the show, however my wife and I really enjoy it. Now honestly, we just take it for entertainment value only.
Be safe and have a great week!

          last scene

As far as the smoking ban I think the last scene sums it up.

guess I missed quite a bit to so can anyone help with:
Is the Chief dating the woman he was with at the eating place?
What happened to the guy who was living by himself in the crappy apartment I guess?

The Chief will quit smoking, he needs money for medical bills. Was that Tommy's brother in the sack with his wife?

no, she's his neighbor who helps him out with his wife, as his wife has alzheimers (sp). personnally, I think they will end up in bed together in the near future.

you know, half way through the episode i was thinking how f*cked up it would be, to have the new guy in tommy's ex's life be his brother. and low and behold, look who she ends up in bed with.

but I was ROTF watching the Lt watch that REALLY poorly done porno movie. i mean, i know they don't always have the most talented work, but I was dying.

                    Wow!

"I'm thankful I don't have to watch him grow up to be just like you."
DAM*! What a thing to say to the other parent of your kid that just recently died. Oh and how about after the talk with his youngest daughter about if his son comes to visit (which he denies) AND THEN sits down to breakfast with him?!

                    -Garrity and Tommy's sister.
                    -Lieu's downward spiral.
-Tommy's brother and ex-wife. Y'know, it kinda struck me when Tommy was trying to get info from him on the phone and he said something to the extent of, "Tommy, f* off." Something in the back of my head said something's going on there.

Final scene - I'm a little confused though.....was this another dead person vision Tommy had after that horrible CPR (done over a blanket, I know it's Hollywood) of the little girl coming back to life?
The EMS crew just seemed to be standing around before. There didn't appear to be any evidence that CPR was attempted by them. Girl appears to spit up, ask for "Mommy!" who THEN comes running up.
I'm confused mainly because we don't actually see the girl again and not much movement by EMS as they seem to pull mother away from child
                    (cut music)
the camera now pans with Tommy walking back to the truck
(lights cigarette with sound only from cigarette)
Tommy walks away and up the street.......(End scene)

                    Alive or dead?

And now my disclaimer: I know this in no way represents how FDNY actually operates and at times does not represent FDNY in a positive light. Hopefully most of the general public realizes this is just a TV show with great writing, cast and acting.

Yea I still kinda think they shot that for the show. I mean, I mean, well damn ...

Okay, I'll add that in. That was HI-LARE-E-US!
The bad acting was "great" bad acting.
The stagehand's head just inside the door.
The boom mike lowering into the frame.

As I was losing it, I glanced over at the GF who had the look of "why're you laughing?"

I'm sure they filmed it for the show. I'd be willing to bet there's copyright royalties even in that industry. (Dang, another disclaimer: I don't own any so I don't know for sure. Just speculating.)

I bet there's serious royalties or fees.

Last time I checked CNN was getting something like $600 or $800 per foot of tape.

Any guesses why Tommy keeps seeing dead people?

Ahh...the porno was filmed for the show.....I believe the "actress" was the hooker/student/etc.. that Lieu was seeing? And gave the money to.
