    Reguardless who you go with....make sure the tech support is available ON SITE 24/7.

    Do not rely on your dispatchers to be CAD techs...they have enough on their plate already.

      I don't think on site 24/7 tech support is realistic. That would mean every CAD company in the country would have techs in every state.

      They should have 24/7 service via phone and remote connection. And whoever your IT guy/gal/dept is should be able to assist on site.
      Someone once told me that time is a predator that stalks us all our lives. But maybe time is also a companion who goes with us on our journey, and reminds us to cherish the moments of our lives because they will never come again.

        On-site 24/7 tech support is an absolute must. Our center has six or seven IT staff dedicated to CAD and nothing else. They're not employees of the CAD vendor, but they know the code and the machines inside out. Only exceptionally difficult situations require intervention by the (headquartered in this city) vendor.

          We use Intergraph.Personally I like it and it has been easy to use and learn.We havent really had any major problems with it.

            We have had interact for 6 years now. It is a nice system and pretty easy to learn and use. The only problems we've had with it, is the Unit list rearranging itself and bumping units off. And sometimes you can end a cad and it will stick on the screen for a while. Other then that its been a pretty nice system.

                My agency uses Emergitec which seems to work pretty well they offer 24/7 remote tech support and also it is fully int with priority dispatchs Pro QA program for EMD pre arrival dispatch medical advice and instruction
