Hello out there. We are a dispatch center located just south of Birmingham Al. At this time we only dispatch fire and rescue for our county but by November we will be consolidating with the sheriffs department and forming one big dispatch center. The sheriff's dispatch has informed us that they do not have a set SOP that they use so we are going to have to rewrite a new. Just wandering if there are any centers out there with SOP's that deal with a combined center. We dispatch for 24 fire/rescue departments( 9 are full-time and the rest volunteer) and when we combine with the SO there will be 15-20 officers at a time and we will have 6 dispatchers on at a time.
