Oh, gentlemen be nice now! Just to humor him -

Left pants pocket - Pair of folding spanner wrenches, Trauma Shears, Linemans Pliers, Cable cutters, Door chock, Flashlight. All neatly contained in a tool bet pouch obtained at lowes for about 15 bucks, its great everything stands up where you can actually grab it with out digging and it fits perfectly in the pocket of my bunker gear.

And because Im badass here is pictures, mine is the best way, you all need to do what I do lol.

Now you may want to search in the future prior to posting, members or internet forums in general and especially ones relating to the fire service can be fairly harsh if you dont make the effort to find the info on your own.

left: fire gloves, pick-up gloves, & hood

right: folding spanners, big channel locks, a handful of wedges, 10' of 1" webbing tied with water knot, four or five tire rubbers that can be hooked on door knobs to prevent them from locking, & a little stream light

Left Cargo: CPR Pocket Mask, Streamlight, Extrication gloves, Res-Q Wrench

Right Cargo: Lineman pliers, cable cutters, 7-in1 screwdriver nut driver combo, Foldable spanner

Left jacket: 4AA streamlight, 20' webbing

Right jacket: Spare radio battery in ziploc bag, lockback knife

              Inside jacket pocket: Portable Radio

I keep my fire gloves on a gear keeper on the outer right pocket, and I have trauma shears and nitrile gloves in a pouch on my suspenders.

I think I may try the tool belt pockets like pictured above.

                    oaattx934,

I like that pouch idea. Seems like a good way to keep stuff organized and stop the tools from ripping up your pockets.

I have seen this topic discussed a million times too but this seems like a new twist on it.

                    Thanks,

                        Those large cargo pockets

In an effort to keep the coat light and not fill the pockets. The bellows pockets on pants are great for everything: 1 pair of structure gloves, utility strap with a 500 kl/n rated carribener attached, some guys are now carrying a Sav-A-Jak, two wedges for sprinkler control or door wedges, a pair of utility gloves for when after the fire is out, and the primary gloves are wet, folding spanner wrench, a flashlight, and a multi-tool for cutting wires, carpet, sheet rock etc. etc.
