I'm looking for the location(s) of the batteries for a 2006 Porsche Cayenne. We had one involved in an MVC today and could not locate the Batteries. To make matters wrose, the owners manual was a cd/dvd and useless on scene.

    Thanks.

I found this on a Porsche Cayenne forum:

"Main battery is under driver's seat and secondary is under subwoofer if you have BOSE option, there is no secondary battery if you have spare tire set in the trunk (as there is no subwoofer)."

      Hello Scooter!

KenNFD1219 is right, main battery is under the drivers seat. It can be disconnected under the floor carpet in front of the seat because the negative battery cable is attached to the floor there.

The battery in the trunk is optional and has no direct connection to the eletctrical system of the car, when you only disconnect the battery in the trunk, the vehicle is still powered.

VW Touareg and Audi Q7 have nearly the same configuration.

Attached a screenshot out of the Crash Recovery System for illustration.
