    VRT in PA

    I was wondering if anyone could tell me how many hours/steps it is to become a VRT in Pennsylvania. Thanks in advance.

    VRT in PA is 48 hours.

    BVR-Awareness - 16 hours
    BVR - Operations - 16 hours
    BVR - Technician - 16 hours

    Written test is given at end of course to earn VRT cert

      It's also a PA Dept. of Health Cert, although the state gives reciprocity for it.
      A Fire Chief has ONLY 1 JOB and that's to take care of his fireman. EVERYTHING else falls under this.
