Does anyone have any guidelines or suggestions about running an extrication competition?

Nothing overly formal, but we would like to 'kick it up a notch' instead of the pop the door, take the roof thing we've done all to many times during training.

Anyway, the best thing I've seen so far is the Phases of Rescue drill in the Univ of Extr. archives. I did a Powerpoint presentation for my fire station on it and it was pretty succesful. If ya wanna get everyone interested in a class, then there ain't nothing better than a little competition! <br />The archives are currently missing phase 2 of the drill, but you can get it from the magazine itself or I can send you a copy of it from Mr. Moores class in Dayton 2000.I'll send ya the power point if ya want too. Lemmee know.
