Battery Cutoff Switches

Both of my Ford vehicles have battery cutoff switches located inside the vehicle on the passenger side. Where can I find out about these switches and where they are located in the different vehicles?

Are these the inertial switches? They shut off on a crash? The only site that has anything like that is Holmatro and you have to buy the book and its like 128 dollars! Hurst has some information on type of eq in vehicles but it appears that they dont update often.
