Here is an interesting article on the series 7 at this address http://www.ai-online.com/articles/10...gyflagship.asp
This line is what gets me-and a miniature gas generator that advances each front-seat headrest to the most forward position to minimize the likelihood of whiplash injuries. Is there anyplace in a vehicle they won't put an something that goes pop? My hot tip of the day is to invest in servo motors & electronic gimmicks. Be safe this weekend.

I don't know what its like in the States, but over here, we contacted every car manufacturer we could find and the only ones that offered training was General Motors Holden and Mercedes Benz. (We recently found some one who works for BMW who gave us an "un-official" session on their cars, but BMW wouldn't offer anything when we contatced them through the proper channels!)

These car manufacturers really have a lot to answer for. Everyone seems to forget about the rescuers that have to get into the cars and then get someone else out....

Furhter to your post, we've done a few extrications where we've had to remove head rests either by hand or by force with shears or similar. It's certainly food for thought....
