I am a Captain in a small rural volunteer fire company located in Noxen, PA. We are currently looking to purchase a set of rescue air bags for vehicle rescue, farm-ag rescue, ect. Our budget is very tight and looking for the least expensive, but still reliable system thats out there. Anybody out there have any suggestions? We would appreciate any help that you might be able to provide. Thanks!

We use a paired set of Holmatro low pressure air bags for lifting operations (such as you might need for tractor roll-overs in a agricultural setting - the most common farm accident in this neck of the woods). The Holmatro bags give you good height, but need to be supported with cribbing as you go...just like any other lifting operation. They are easy to operate, easily transportable into a remote location, and set up time is just a few minutes. As far as vehicle extrication applications, again we limit their use to lifting operations.
Stay safe!

We have used 3 different sizes of Matjack airbags and absolutely love them. They are a high pressure bag and we have never had a problem with them. At the time of purchase, they were fairly reasonable. I am not too sure how they are now though.
Hope this helps a little!
