What kind of extrication glove do you prefer.
Leather, Ringers gloves, Mechanix Wear gloves, ....

I've tried a few different ones and keep coming back to the Crossfire extrication glove for actual extrication, but beware they're not acid prrof, so really bad for battery disconnecting, etc!
For this sort of work, I stick with the leather riggers glove. They're cheap enough that I don't need to worry about tossing them after a messy accident, etc....

I like the Mechanix "Extrication" glove. It is made from Kevlar, so it has some fire resistance as well as durability for extrication work. You will find that most other gloves are made from nylon which will simply melt if you get into a fire while performing an extrication. That is not acceptable for me.Richard Nester

I love my Shelby extrication gloves I wear them on all MVA's....

I use the Mechanix Extrication Gloves and have yet to find a problem with them...NYS FF1/AEMT-CC
