Decon solutions

Is anyone using something other than bleach for biologic decon? Do you have powder or liquid stored on your equipment?

We use bleach in liquid form (6 gallon), I have heard that there is continuing development of foams and other solutions which are more effective, but it seems that most have not made it to market as yet.

We use a product called LpH. The company that makes it is Steris Corp. 5035 Manchester Ave. St. Louis. Mo. 63110 800-548-4873. We use this for decon of our equipment and in the lab areas during clean up. The other thing that works real well, and is readily availble, is lysol.
