Radiation Detection Equipment

I am a City of Toronto, Canada firefighter/hazmat technician and I am looking for information on radiation detection equipment to put in service on our hazmat truck. We currently are using ESP units but we find them to be to technical for our use. We want something that is simple to use and accurate. Anybody have any suggestions? Check with the California Highway Patrol's Commercial Enforcement Division and find out the manufacturer of their detector. The model is called the CHP. I'm not sure who makes it, but it is a fairly firefighter-proof model. We are currently using Ludlow's, but those too require technical knowledge.
