Willow Grove, PA ????
Anyone out there working at NAS Willow Grove FD? I was tenatively selected and was curious as to the tempo, types of runs, etc.... Also, isn't the base on the BRAC list? What are the steps in finding work on other bases?

I am looking to get my foot in the door. I have been out of it for three years now and need to get back in somehow. I have had other offers from Rucker,Corpus Christi,Ft. Gordon, but the wife wants to move closer to family in Delaware.

And we are not NAGE (thank God) but we are AFGE, and working on getting our IAFF on base. We currently have an off-base local. Our AFGE has been awesome for us, but it's not exclusive to the FD, and there are a few things that need to re-worked, but overall, they are pretty good to us.
