I know theres questions about this job every other day but I haven't been able to find an answer on this one and didn't feel like calling my recruiter just to ask him. My question is what kind of work schedule do you Air Force FFs have?

I can only speak for the Marines at K-Bay in the early 90's. They had a 24 hour shift schedule during regular op temp days and just a skeleton crew for days when there was nothing on the air field schedule.Be for Peace, but don't be for the Enemy!

Most AF Fire Dept. Airmen work the same schedule as the civilians at that Dept. But the Airmen are the first to get screwed out of a Day off due to belonging to Uncle Sam. And no matter how creative you are Most Federal Fire Dept. Have to work 72 Hours a week the worst type of schedule around. Because congress would have to approve something better.
