  • User Conduct...Pathetic

Over the past few weeks, and months, user conduct continues to be a problem
    It's been longer than that.

We will remind users that personal attacks, calling other users out, etc. for the opinions, right or wrong, is completely unacceptable at Firehouse.com

    Consider this your final notice.

If any user engages in a personal attack of another user, including in response to them attacking you -- as we've warned users of before -- you are subject to permanent removal from these forums. Whether you are posting your first post, or on post 5,000. You will be removed.

We are not going to tolerate the name calling and such that takes place in some of the forums here. The vast majority of users are very civil to each other, but for those who are not, you will be gone.
That's why this contributor stopped visiting these forums. Has anything changed...before I waste my time searching the posts?

      Ed,
You freaked us out. RIT was called and activated! Pop into the IACOJ site or something to let us know you are ok. We certainly do miss your posts.

              Hey, it's Ed!

FH is the same as ever. Every six months or so there's a big blow-out and then things calm down again.

As mentioned, you could always pop over to IACOJ to say hi once in awhile

I'm giving it serious thought.....hmmmm. My newswires are all backed up.

I passed Rescue 1...at that awful accident scene on Columbus Avenue...and I cried. And I thought of all my friends here...then I logged in and looked around.

The forums really used to be a fun place to visit...but.............

honestly there are thousands of posts each month....a fraction are problematic and the those that are reported are dealt with. The forums are what users make of them. The most significant number of people are talking about real topics...if you've got a problem with a post, please report it and it will be dealt with.

Report problematic users and we'll do our best to deal with them. There have been 5,000+ posts this much...and a few dozen reported. Like any forum there are problem users....luckily, it still remains as its always been, a fraction of the total forums. Thanks to all those who continue to pretty much put those problem users on 'ignore' and dicuss real topics every day, as much as ever.

Theead closed...please discuss topics..not the forums, please. Either way, this doesn't have much to do with Meet & Greet
