  • Resident new guy from TN saying hey!

I've been lurking for quite some time now, but figured it was finally time to register! I've been a firefighter for Clarksville Fire and Rescue now for 1 year(1 yr anniv. is this week). I'll be taking my FF1 exam and practical here within the next month, so I've been spending alot of time trying to study for that. Also, I'm signed up for a First Responder class, so even more studying......what can I say, I'm a glutton for punishment!

Anyways, just thought I'd drop a few lines, and say hey to all my brothers and sisters out there, and that it's good to finally be here.

Hehe....I figured people would like that name! lol What can I say, once you get labeled with a nickname around the station, it just kinda sticks!

Yeah, I'm really excited about this First Responder Class. It starts 09/30, and goes through 11/26, kinda long, but well worth it. I'm all for getting as much training as I can, because I'd rather be an asset on any scene, than just a stander-by.

        Welcome chunkles,

Glad to hear it. Learn as much as you can right now, it always seems to stick better when you are new to the game. Later on it takes it longer to get through the crust.... LOL
