    Signing in from Wisconsin

    Hey all.

    New member here checking in from northern Wisconsin.

    I'm a captain of a volunteer department and recently took over duties as a training officer. Hoping to find some good ideas to make training more interesting and dynamic.

    Professionally, I'm a deputy sheriff and am in charge of all fire investigations for my county. I've been a fire investigator for more then a few years.

    I'm hoping to make some new friends and learn some new stuff around here!

      Thanks! Just reviewing the site and am learning a bunch already.

      I'm a long time member over at officer.com so I know exactly what you mean about filtering out the BS....

          Yep. Just a little east of here. Our annual Fire Expo used to be held at Telemark until this year.

            Nice country up that way. Have more miles on a sled in that area than I can remember! LOL
            Had a few guys from Cable and Hayward in the class I taught at LSC. Good bunch.
