I don't work for any of them, but you would do well to consult with an outfit with experience building fire stations. We're going through it right now and talking to those folks has really opened our eyes. They don't come cheap.

For budgeting purposes, figure $250 per square foot. From essential building requirements to decon areas to separate rooms for PPE to exhaust removal systems, there's a lot involved. Four walls with overhead doors in one of them doesn't cut it any more.

New Hampton, Milton and Tuftonboro have all built stations in somewhat recent memory here in NH. Milton has a Facebook page, not sure on the other two.

    fire station design..

I live in So. NH and our town needs a new firehouse. 1 story, 6 to 8 bays.. nothing fancy. Just wondering if there are any towns around New England that have built new stations recently that might be willing to share ideas and advice. thanks very much
