Thought I would post this...a bit late but better than never.
Green Bay Fire Dept lost one of our own in a house fire August 13, 2006. Lt Wolff and another FF went to conduct a primary search when the floor gave way and resulted in a backdraft. Lt Wolff was unable to get out, being trapped by debris and intense fire. There were no windows or doors in the room Lt Wolff fell into. His partner was able to locate a doorway to find a way out and was able to get out of some basement windows.
This is the first LODD for the City of Green Bay, WI to lose a FF in a fire.
Rest peacefully Brother Wolff.
