My condolences to the Adams family and the Springfield Fire Department of Florida. Fire Chief Chris Adams, 40, a veteran of the Springfield Fire Department, died Tuesday January 16, 2007. While on duty at city hall, Chris collapsed after suffering a heart attack caused by a blood clot in his chest. He was rushed to Bay Medical Center where he later died. I remember Chris from when I worked at Bay Medical Center EMS in Panama City. I wish his family the best.
