My condolences to the Tackett family and the Flat Gap Fire Department of Flat Gap, Kentucky. FireFighter Cecil Tackett Jr., 28, a volunteer with the Flat Gap Fire Department for four months, died Thursday December 28, 2006. Cecil died as a result of a motor vehicle accident during activities connected to a departmental work detail. I have created a permanent memorial for Cecil Tackett Jr. on my website.
