Working out outdoors is the best. You will sweat all you want and you can feel the fresh air.

Looks like a great product, but a little pricey.
It does however validate a training technique I use at home sometimes with an ordinary tow strap that you can find for around $20 if you shop around.

just about any cable exercise can be done with some ingenuity and your own bodyweight. There are always plenty of sturdy places around a firehouse to wrap the strap. At home I use a steel basketball hoop beam.

Other ideas for outdoor workout stations

An idea that you might look into is located here:
    www.fitnessanywhere.com

We use this as part of our program because of the TRX device. This device is used by the military in Afghanistan and Iraq when there is nothing else to use. It was designed by an ex-Navy SEAL. Check it out because alot of our people love it.

    Plans/Ideas for outdoor workout stations

A couple of us are thinking of getting materials to build some outdoor strength stations behind our station. An inground pullup bar or dip bars seem pretty self-explanitory, but I want to know if anyone has experience building these or other stations. Also, if anyone knows where to find plans, in print or online it would be appreciated. Are there any props that would help with CPAT events? I am guessing that we will eventually use the CPAT for fitness evals. Our department has a membership to a gym, but sometimes we don't get to the gym during our shift, or we catch a run in the middle of a workout. It would be nice to have somewhere to work out anytime day/night.

    Thanks
