I am trying to compile information on pipe bands in relation to firedepartments around the country. Our fire department already has a honor Guard that does many different community presentations as well as Fire department related activities and at this point we are now going to start building a Pipe band.
We aready have instructors and classes scheduled, some equipement ordered, and several other things taken care of, trying to get the ball moving so to speak.
Here is where I need you guy's help...
I would like to gather ANY information concerning call volume and presentation type information on some of the other departments out there with a band. I am trying to take this information to make a presentation requesting donations helping our efforts in raising money for the rest of the equipement.
As of right now we are spending money out of our own pockets but will be presenting what ever we can come up with to not only the city but surrounding business's.
