MCI Trailer

Was wondering if a Regional AFG Grant for a MCI trailer and truck would be possible.

Would be for a county with over 12,000,000 visitors a year with all but around 5% arriving by vehicle. Of those arriving by ground, around 25-30% arriving by tour bus. In addition we have casinos with around 50,000-75,000 people in them at any one time, sometimes over 100,000 on the weekends. Another big factor, closest Hospital is 30 minutes away.

Have not had a large scale MCI yet, but have come very close on numerous occassions.

My question would be could that be funded in a regional Grant, and if so could we include the Truck, trailer and equipment.

Tow vehicles are limited to $6000, otherwise the trailer and non-disposable equipment are eligible.

To clarify that a little further, the $6k limit would be on staying within the equipment category. You could apply for a vehicle to tow it in your Vehicle app, but unless you make it a Priority 1 truck it won't even make it past the computer.

Correct, trailer & other stuff would all be under equipment.

Regional vehicle

Can we apply for vehicle under a regional application?

No. Only equipment.

Excuse me if I missed it in another thread. I know you can apply for two categories this year: Operations & Vehicle (yes technically 3 with regional)

If you submit applications for both does the computer score your dollar amount request as 1 app or are both treated seperate? (i.e. for the purposes of cost/benefit)

Both are treated independently of each other so no conflict in computer or Peer.
