You beat me to it. I was thinking it might more likely to be awarded to try for CAFS retrofittings. Just a thought, but I do like what you're looking at mitch, looked at them myself. My problem is they'd only work in half my district.

Anyone successful on getting a truck like one of these?

The problem we have is we are in the Flinthill's with large pastures and have had some very large grass fires the past few years. We currently have 3 grass rigs that are 1 ton pickups with 250 gallon tanks. They work will on the smaller fires but on the larger fires that you can't get a tanker back into - the 250 gallons doesn't last very long and we spend more time driving back to the tanker (can be several miles) than we do fighting fire.

Idea is to keep the current pickups but have a larger grass rig that can get "deeper" into the fire before having to pull out to refill.

It's recieved! Thanks again, and thanks for the FYI. I guess I haven't had to PM or email someone since it's been doing this.

    Catch22,

I have emailed the narrative along with some photos. Let me know you got them.

FYI: It seems that you can not scroll onto the forum names (at least consistently) and get the pull down list. I found recently, the only way to open the drop down menu, is to right click on the name then click on "open", which seems to work.

Try emailing me again through the profile. I don't have PM. That way I can verify whether or not I sent the info out. I can only verify it through email addresses. Lately, I have been sending out requests, but no feedback whether any one is recieving the info. Nothing has kicked back as undeliverable.

If I did not send it out, I'll email it to you right away.
Freaking firehouse.com. For some reason the pull-down doesn't work to email you. I'll just post my email here and edit it out later. I understand the sending things left and right, and I certainly appreciate it! Thanks!

I dropped you a PM a while back about getting a copy if you didn't mind. Thought I'd make sure I didn't miss a response or if maybe it never got to you. If I could, I'd love to see it and get some insight one how you laid it out.
