They check over the apps for fraud, accurate numbers, invalid proejcts, etc, etc.

Probably not until March sometime. Peer just ended last week, so they're in tech review right now.

When will we really see an update about whats going on and where they are with the process. I don't know whats typical to be expected as far as a wait time. Do they send Dear John letters out fast? I imagine no news is good news.

Quite a few have been handed out, decent % compared to the number of people that have applied for robots for the right reasons anyway. Robots are behind smoke/CO detectors, but very useful tools.

Odds are worse than an AFG euipment app (1:3), better than a vehicle (1:10). There were just short of 3,000 apps, so tough to tell the total # of awards because of the variance in requests.

Our first time also. We applied for a robot to use with our fire prevention programs. Does anyone know what the odds are? We thought there might be other things that scored higher, but the robot, we felt would be the best benifit to our program. I just wondered if any one else has recieved one of these robots on this grant.
