All of mine weren't new missions per the PG, so that may be one difference if y'all haven't made any leaps in that direction. All the ones I had funded had some equipment and some NFPA certified Rescue Techs, so that makes it an enhancement not a new mission.Brian P. Vickers

Tech rescue equip
Three weeks ago we received the confirmation for the 2006 grant period for the following tech rescue equipment: 1-Supplied Air Cart, 2-high pressure 60 min cylinders, 4 supplied air respirators w/escape cylinder and 300’ of air hose for each respirator. As BC79er stated previously, this is to expand or further an already existing heavily trained dept/certified rescue apparatus and not a new mission.
